Q: Do I have to talk throughout the massage? 

A: Absolutely not. This time is for you to unwind, unplug and take time for yourself. If you enjoy a little small talk to start off I am all ears. Some people like to vent about their day before they can fully relax. Others are ready for a nice nap. However, you like to interact during your massage works for me. 

Q: How often should I get a massage? 

A: Depending on how often you are able to come in if you have a lot of day-to-day stress and discomfort I recommend to come in once a week for four weeks. After that, I recommend every two to three weeks for four sessions. Following that, coming in once a month is great to maintain relaxed muscles.

Q: Is massage just for relaxation?

A: While it is a great way to promote relaxation, massage therapy is so much more. Massage helps manage pain, reduce stress, improve circulation, decrease muscle tension, ease breathing difficulties, lower blood pressure, reduce headaches, improve mobility, promote sleep, manage anxiety & depression, and helps improve your overall wellness.

Q: Will I be sore after my massage?

A:You may experience some soreness in the areas that carry the most tension. Muscles holding tension can have a build-up of lactic acid that is released through massage causing you to be sore. That is why it is important to drink water and stay hydrated. This allows the toxins released during the massage to be flushed from your system. 

Q: Do you offer gift cards?

Q: What kind of music do you play?

A- I have a variety of playlists I feature while massaging. Common genres are soothing jazz, meditation, piano, and nature sounds. I like to play the music that won't distract you from focusing on yourself. I am happy to take requests so feel free to let me know beforehand and I can incorporate it into your session.
